Louise
Team Lead |
Senior Occupational Therapist
Louise joined the Will & Way team in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for people. Since then, she has become an integral part of the team: respected for her clinical expertise, trusted for her leadership, and admired for her unwavering commitment to both clients and colleagues.
Â
A 2010 graduate of La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Louise has worked across public and private sectors in Melbourne, regional Victoria, and the UK, supporting people with spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma, and neurological conditions.
Â
At Will & Way, Louise has found her niche as our go-to girl for all things complex assistive technology. With a strong interest in wheelchair prescription and seating and posture management, she has completed extensive additional training and embraced every opportunity to deepen her knowledge. Her clinical skills are matched by her creativity and commitment to finding the right solution for every individual, no matter how complex the challenge.
Â
As a Team Lead, Louise is the kind of leader everyone looks up to. She is inclusive, approachable, and fiercely supportive, always making time for her team and considering the whole person (not just the professional) in every interaction. Whether she is mentoring a colleague, advocating for a client, or coordinating care plans for people with high and complex needs, Louise leads with empathy, insight, and integrity.
Â
Outside of work, Louise is an adventurer at heart. She loves hiking, planning her next travel escape, and spending time with her energetic bordoodle. She is also a proud aunt who adores her nephews and never misses a chance to spoil them.
