Emma

Senior Occupational Therapist |
Culture Lead

Emma graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2018. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a therapy assistant, which complemented her academic learning with practical experience and sparked her passion for working with people with neurological conditions.

Before joining the Will & Way team, Emma worked as an occupational therapist in both inpatient and community settings across Geelong and West Melbourne. She has strong skills in home modifications, neurological rehabilitation, assistive technology prescription, and capacity building. Her experience across the continuum of care has also allowed her to develop excellent discharge and care planning skills, which she utilizes when supporting clients with complex needs to transition from hospital back home or into alternative living arrangements.

Emma enjoys getting to know people and understanding what is important to them. She brings energy, enthusiasm, and kindness to her work and is an effective advocate for her clients.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys walking her very chatty golden retriever, exploring the great outdoors, and busting out dance moves.
