Coralie Cooper
Director |
Occupational Therapist
Together with her colleague and close friend, Claire Brice, Coralie co-founded Will & Way Therapy Services in 2018. Their decision to branch out on their own was driven by a desire to build a team of like-minded individuals passionate about serving clients in a way that fosters meaningful relationships and promotes enjoyment in life through occupation.
Â
Before becoming an Occupational Therapist, Coralie was a swimming teacher and coach, specialising in working with people with disabilities and water phobias. Her passion for supporting people to overcome barriers and achieve their goals led her to the exciting field of Occupational Therapy.
Â
For over 14 years, Coralie has worked across the public, not-for-profit, and private sectors in Geelong and West Melbourne. She has extensive experience working with people with neurological conditions, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments. What Coralie enjoys most about her work is developing positive and empowering therapeutic relationships with her clients. She also values teamwork and frequently draws on her large network of providers and services to ensure each client’s needs are met effectively and efficiently.
Â
Outside of work, Coralie enjoys going for walks on the beach with her husband, son, and two boisterous dogs, spending time with family and friends, immersing herself in a good book, planning travel adventures, completing home renovations, and snowboarding.
Â
Coralie completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Deakin University in 2010. She is also a certified Level II Wellness Coach, has completed nationally recognized training modules in home modifications, extensive additional training in seating/wheelchair prescription, and is FIM credentialed.
