Elise

Occupational Therapist

Elise graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2015. Elise also holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Human Movement, completed through Victoria University in 2011, and level four certificates in Sport Development and Sport and Recreation.

Prior to joining the Will & Way team, Elise worked in the public healthcare sector in Colac and Timboon. Within these roles Elise supported adults and older adults across the full continuum of care, often covering multiple practice settings simultaneously. These opportunities allowed Elise to gain a broad range of experience and develop strong skills in managing pressure care needs, prescribing equipment and home modifications, building capacity, providing group therapy, and supporting people to navigate life transitions.

Elise enjoys nutting out what people value and find meaningful and celebrating all successes: the big wins, the small wins, and everything in between! She is an efficient, versatile, and dynamic therapist who adopts a compassionate approach to her work. Outside of her professional life, Elise spends her time feeding her coffee and chocolate addiction, scrapbooking photos, and hanging out with her daughter and husband. She is also a huge fan of Christmas and never misses an opportunity to collect a new Christmas ornament when traveling!
